Serves 12
1 lb. | Owens Hot Roll Sausage |
1 small | onion, diced |
2 | celery stalks, diced |
1/2 cup | thick hot pepper sauce |
1 pkg. | 8 oz. cream cheese, softened |
1/2 cup | Blue Cheese salad dressing |
1/2 cup | shredded Mexican blend cheese |
1 teaspoon | minced chives |
1 | Preheat oven to 350 F. |
2 | In medium skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook sausage until brown. |
3 | Add onion and celery and cook until softened. |
4 | Remove from heat and drain on paper towels. |
5 | In skillet, combine sausage mixture and hot pepper sauce. Set aside. |
6 | In 1 ½ quart baking dish, combine cream cheese and salad dressing. |
7 | Spread mixture up sides of baking dish, and fill center with sausage mixture. Sprinkle top with Mexican blend cheese and chives. |
8 | Bake for 15 minutes or until hot. |
9 | Serve with celery, chips or crackers. |
