These sausage and pepper sliders made with our Original Owens sausage is a combo you don’t want to miss!

Serves 8
1 pkg. | Owens Original Patties 12 oz |
1 teaspoon | oil |
1/2 cup | sliced red pepper |
1/2 cup | sliced green pepper |
1/2 cup | sliced onion |
1/2 teaspoon | Italian seasoning |
1 bag | 8 slider buns |
4 slices | provolone cheese, cut in half |
2 tablespoons | butter (melted) |
1 | Preheat oven to 350 F. |
2 | In large skillet over medium heat, cook patties, turning occasionally until brown and cooked through. |
3 | Remove from skillet. Add oil to skillet and cook peppers and onions until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in Italian seasoning. |
4 | Spray 9” square baking dish with nonstick spray. Place bottom bun halves into dish. Top each with a patty. |
5 | Evenly divide vegetables over patties. Top each with a half cheese slice. Top with bun tops. Brush with melted butter. |
6 | Cover dish with foil and bake 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for 5 to 7 minutes or until cheese is melted. |
