Our Italian Sausage mixed with frozen vegetables makes this variation of a well-loved recipe as unique as it is delicious.

Serves 4 - 6
1 pkg. | Owens Italian Roll Sausage |
8 oz. | Fettuccine |
1 jar | Alfredo pasta sauce (16 oz) |
1 bag | frozen peas and carrots, thawed (10 oz) |
1/2 cup | grated Parmesan cheese |
1 tablespoon | parsley, chopped |
1/4 cup | water |
1 | Pinch Italian sausage and shape into about 36 meatballs. |
2 | Lightly spray large skillet with non stick spray and heat meatballs over medium high heat for 1 minute per side until lightly browned on each side. |
3 | Add ¼ c. water and cover with a tightly fitting lid and allow to steam for 8 – 10 minutes until meatballs are fully cooked and have reached an internal temperature of 165 F. |
4 | Meanwhile, cook fettuccine according to package directions. Drain and set aside. |
5 | When sausage is cooked, add Alfredo sauce, peas and carrots. Cook until vegetables are hot. |
6 | Serve sauce over fettuccine. Garnish with Parmesan and parsley. |
