A warm and hearty Italian casserole, made flavorful with Owens Sausage. Great for making ahead, refrigerating and reheating on a day when you know the dinner hour will be busy.

Serves 4
1 lb. | Owens Italian Roll Sausage |
1/2 box | manicotti shells, about 8 (8 oz) |
1/4 cup | onion, chopped |
1/4 teaspoon | garlic, minced |
1 pkg. | frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry (10 oz) |
1/2 cup | grated Parmesan cheese |
1/2 teaspoon | dried Oregano leaves |
1 jar | Alfredo sauce, divided (16 oz) |
1 jar | tomato-based spaghetti sauce (26 - 28 oz) |
1 | Preheat oven to 375F. |
2 | Cook manicotti according to package directions. Drain and set aside to cool. |
3 | In medium skillet over medium heat cook sausage, onion and garlic until sausage is browned. |
4 | Stir in spinach, Parmesan cheese, oregano and 1/4 cup Alfredo sauce. |
5 | Spoon into manicotti shells. |
6 | Pour just enough spaghetti sauce on bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan to coat surface. |
7 | Arrange stuffed manicotti over sauce in single layer. |
8 | Pour remaining spaghetti sauce over manicotti. Top with remaining Alfredo sauce. Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese. |
9 | Bake 20 minutes or until heated through and sauce is bubbling. If desired, place under broiler to brown cheese. |
